Lord Ganesha is also called Vinayaka or Vighneshwera. We all worshiped, or at least remembered, in the beginning of any good performance for blessings and auspiciousness. He is the elder son of the Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesh has elephant head, big belly and four hands.

As you know a tiny mouse is the vehicle of Ganpati and he carries a rope (to carry devotees to the truth) in his hands, an axe (to cut devotees’ attachments), and a sweet dessert ball -laddoo- (to reward devotees for spiritual activity). To bless people, his fourth hand’s palm is always extended.
