Google released toolbar for chrome before one year. Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with complicated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. You can search google.com very easily with Google toolbar. You can put topics directly on this toolbar which is stay in left top of the side. Now Google toolbar is not working for chrome. Google Toolbar 5 is only available for Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Google Toolbar Features:

Google Toolbar lives on top of the browser's tab bar and it provides a search box to carry out web searches.

This tool bar has a superior search box, numerous custom buttons you can add to it, improved bookmarks, and access to your Google account, auto fill features, pop-up blocker, spell check, word find and a lot more. Installing the Google Toolbar is a fast and simple process that even the novice computer user can complete.

How to install Google Toolbar:

Step 1 : Access your web browser and go to the main page of Google Toolbar. There is a link in Resources below.

Step 2 : start the Download of the Google Toolbar. There are different versions of the toolbar. If you have Windows XP, 2000 or Vista with Internet Explorer 6+ installed, click on the “Install Google Toolbar” button located on the right side of the page. If you have a previous version of Windows, click on the “Previous version” link that is located below the button. If you have either Firefox or Enterprise Edition, click on the provided links.

Step 3 : Complete the download. Read the “Terms & Conditions” provided. Select the country location; place a check mark in any of the desired boxes, and then click on the “Agree and Download” button. A Security Warning box will open. Click on the “Run” button to begin the download. Select “Run” once again. A Google Update box will appear and update the application. When installation is complete click on “Run Google Toolbar”. This opens a new web browser with the new Google Toolbar installed.

Step 4 : Learn about Google Toolbar. A short video will begin playing showing you how to use the toolbar. It explains three of most used features of the toolbar. These are search, bookmark and auto fill. You can find more information about all of the numerous additional features available also. Simply go to the link “Google Toolbar Features and Help Center” located in Resources. Here you can easily gain knowledge of all of them.
